Ricardo Díaz De La Vega

Ricardo Díaz De La Vega is a visionary technologist, immigrant entrepreneur, and trusted authority in Artificial Intelligence with nearly two decades of experience building companies, platforms, and digital ecosystems.

Born in Peru and starting in a basement in Queens, New York in 2008, Ricardo founded Dreams Animation, which has grown into a nationally recognized firm with offices in New York and Houston. Today, Dreams Animation serves major brands and institutions—including the United Nations, Cadillac, Frito-Lay, Farmers Insurance, and hospitals across the U.S.—and has expanded into software development projects in Israel, Ireland, Saudi Arabia, and beyond.

Ricardo has been honored as Entrepreneur of the Year at Premios Fama NYC (2019), recognized by the U.S Senate for his impact on Hispanic entrepreneurs, and is a proud Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses alumnus (Houston Cohort). In 2021, he completed the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative, joining the top 2% of Latino entrepreneurs trained in America. In 2025, he was selected by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as one of America’s Top 100 Small Businesses and among the Top 10 Tech Innovators nationwide out of 12,500 applicants.

Beyond agency work, Ricardo has launched pioneering ventures:

  • Latin Maps (2016–2019): the first search engine for Latino businesses in America, attracting 62,000 businesses and attention from leaders such as Michael Bloomberg, Simon Sinek, Wikipedia’s Jim Wales, and Latin music stars from Bad Bunny to Luis Fonsi.
  • Soldi (2014): an Israeli social commerce app ahead of its time, with “like-and-buy” features that predated Facebook Marketplace.
  • Multiply Mastery (2024): a Houston-based seminar training 520 Latino entrepreneurs in scaling strategies.

Today, Ricardo with Dreams Animation launched a new vision La Voice AI, an ambitious AI company pioneering empathetic, persuasive, and human-centered voice AI—what he calls the “Soul of AI.” LaVoiceAI’s mission is to transform how humans and machines communicate across defense, healthcare, education, and business. Under Ricardo’s leadership, the company plans to create 200 new jobs in Houston in the next 12 months, positioning the city as the world’s capital of AI.

Ricardo is also a full-stack coder, creative director, investor, and motivational public speaker who believes in the power of faith and perseverance. He attributes every success to God’s guidance and to his family—his wife Nucha and their three children in Houston.
