As a result, Dreams Animation New York seeks experienced professionals for the associate consultant (AC), consultant and more senior roles.

We recruit experienced professionals year-round. Your years of relevant experience help determine which role you should apply for at Dreams Animation:

  • Up to three years of experience — Associate consultant
  • Between three and six years of industry experience or one to two years post-MBA — Consultant
  • More than six years of experience — Manager

Your position level will be assessed and adjusted, if needed, during the interview process.

AC INTERVIEWS

Dreams Animation interview process involves a series of case and experience interviews to help us get to know you better. Since each case interview will entail a discussion of an actual Dreams Animation case, so you will gain some insights into what it is like to work at Dreams Animation. We encourage you to prepare for your case interviews.

In the experience interview, your interviewer will ask traditional resume and behavioral questions, as well as questions about a mini-case based on your experiences, to better understand you and your interest in Dreams Animation.

Successful candidates will participate in up to two rounds of interviews; each round will have two 30-45 minute interviews.

First round

You will meet with two senior ACs or consultants on your university’s campus or in our office if you are invited to interview with Dreams Animation.

The bulk of the first round of interviews will revolve around the discussion of Dreams Animation cases. Your interviewer will present a short business problem and then ask you to structure the problem and recommend a practical solution.

Your interview may kick off with an opportunity to share your achievements and future goals. You should also have time at the end to ask your interviewer questions.

Second round

Those successfully passing the first round will participate in a second round of interviews, either on your university’s campus or in our office. You will meet with Dreams Animation managers, principals or partners during this final round, which will consist of two 45-minute case interviews.

CONSULTANT INTERVIEWS

Dreams Animation interview process involves a series of case and experience interviews to help us get to know you better. Since each of the case interviews will entail a discussion of an actual Dreams Animation case, you will also gain some insights into what it is like to work at Dreams Animation. We encourage you to prepare for your case interviews.

Successful candidates will participate in two rounds of interviews; each round will have two or three 40 minute interviews.

First round

You will meet with two Dreams Animation managers or partners on your school’s campus if you are invited to interview with Dreams Animation.

The bulk of the first round of interviews will revolve around the discussion of Dreams Animation cases. Your interviewer will present a short business problem and then ask you to structure the problem and recommend a practical solution.

Your interview may kick off with an opportunity to share your achievements and future goals. You should also have time at the end to ask your interviewer questions.

Second round

Those successfully passing the first round will participate in a second round of interviews. You will meet with Bain managers, principals or partners during this final round, which will consist of one standard case interview, one written case interview and one experience interview.

The goal of the written case is to provide you with an opportunity to better demonstrate your skills in a more real-life situation. It will also give you a better understanding of the day-to-day role of a Bain consultant by simulating our work process. Bain will provide you with 20 to 30 slides that describe a client situation and ask key questions pertaining to that client. You will have 60 minutes to review the slides and prepare a short synopsis of your insights and recommendations before the interview begins.

In the experience interview, your interviewer will ask traditional resume and behavioral questions, as well as questions about a mini-case based on your experiences, to better understand you and your interest in Bain.

MANAGER INTERVIEWS

Dreams Animation interview process for more senior consulting positions include several rounds with a variety of partners in our office and potentially other offices. The exact structure of the interviews will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
